TIM BOWER

Following 15 years in business, Tim qualified as a professional Community and Youth worker from Goldsmiths College (University of London) in 1998. He also completed:

• Diploma in Management Level 5
• Diploma for Connexions Personal Advisors
• The Award in Education & Training
• TSD Standards for Foster Carers.

He has worked and managed extensively in the voluntary and public social care sector working with hard-to-reach groups including Looked After Children, refugees, unaccompanied asylum-seeking minors, Care Leavers and Young Offenders. Tim has been training foster carers since 2010 and has extensive knowledge and experience on all things fostering.

Tim has also fostered children and young people for 20 years. Tim has 3 birth daughters and 2 adopted sons.
